สำราญ คริสต์มาส ! (Merry Christmas)

Welcome to the first, last, and only Thilo Family Christmas Blog!

First of all, there may be questions and concerns as to what the heck this thing is and why the heck I decided to do it. You might be asking yourself:
  • "Is this possible?"
  • "Have my prayers been answered?"
  • "Can he keep it up for three whole weeks?"
  • "How did I get so lucky to have Sam chronicle every mundane detail about his life and share his private and innermost thoughts over the holidays about things like:"
    • What it would be like to braid or curl Dad's hair?
    • Will anyone notice if I don't shower until after New Year's?
    • Where is the pickle?
    • How many lights can I leave on in the house before being yelled at by Dad?
    • How many pairs of shoes can I leave in the living room without getting yelled at by Dad?
    • How long can I go without getting yelled at by Dad?
    • WWTD? (What would Tippy do?)
    • Why does the sun set in the west?
The answer to each question is, yes, yes, probably, thank your lucky stars, and the rest of them should be answered before the new year.

Alright, so why do a blog now? Well, this is actually my Christmas present to my beloved little sister Becky. You see, as the most important and loved Thilo child (I can reach high things, I pee standing up, and I once held my breath for 3 laps in the pool), I thought I would let my two sisters and anyone else interested keep up with the parents and me in Coeur d'Alene. You see, this is the first Christmas where the trifecta (Sarah, Sam and Becky) will be broken.

I thought to myself, what better a gift to give my sister in Thailand than a website dedicated to everything about ME! Heck, this thing is way cheaper than sending her something and I can do it in my underwear (guess what I am wearing right now!). With that said I hope everyone has a happy holiday season, whether it's hot, cold, humid, snowing, or above the clouds. So fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride because this is going to be the fifth BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!

Oh my goodness, this is so wonderful and embarrassing... I'm simultaneously laughing and crying in the middle of an internet cafe, surrounded by small Thai boys playing video games. Thank you very much, Big Brother!
